The latest issue of World Potato Markets includes interesting estimates of acreage and yields in Europe. The most probable scenario is that the acreage will continue its downward trend. However, the yields should be going up compared to last year that was plagued by low yields in many regions. For example Germany is expected to see an increase of 7,4 % in yields.
