Since the start in September 2020, Luonnosta Holland has developed well. The seasons from 2020 to 2024 were challenging, navigating both low prices during the pandemic and high prices in recent seasons. Despite these challenges, we continue to experience growth in volume and turnover.
Luonnosta as a group is also thriving with an expanding sales team in Finland and the recent launch of Luonnosta UK in July 2023. We play a valuable role as traders in potatoes, onions, carrots, other vegetables, and our organic avocados (grown in Tanzania within the group of companies). Our clients and suppliers appreciate our trading activities and recognize the value we bring by sourcing and serving them at optimal prices based on our market knowledge and network.
To further support our growth, we’re excited to announce the expansion of our team. We are pleased to inform you that Muhammad Semega Janneh will join Luonnosta Holland as Commercial Manager on September 1st, 2024. Muhammad brings extensive experience in potato trading, having worked in the industry for over 13 years, most recently at Nedato/Potato Next. We are confident he will be a valuable asset to the Luonnosta group.
